Think of it this way. Your company Slack channels (social infrastructure) tell you a lot about what your culture is (open, inhibited, collaborative, fearful, innovative, rigid, etc) if you’re willing to “listen” to how it’s used, who uses and when. Behind every one of these interactions is the impact of written and unwritten rules (social architecture) of how work gets done.
