Sobo is the Social By Design Chabot powered by Mobile Coach. I’m developing Sobo to engage with clients to learn more about employee interaction types, interaction frequency, and their networks. Sobo provides the Social MRI organizations need.
Work is a social experience and work success and challenges are most often a result of interpersonal and organizational communication. The better we understand the level and types of interactions taking place, the better we can determine the health of the culture. From here, we can begin to address current workflow issues and their relationship to business outcomes as well as anticipate issues that may arise in the future.
Sobo, with its conversation UI, will be tasked to quickly engage with all levels of employees, wherever they are and in a more frictionless and context-independent way. Since relationships are ultimately two-way, Sobo, like many Mobile Coach solutions, can also be prepared to provide prompts, resources, and nudge employees to help them learn, find each other, get information, and discover more about disparate parts of the organization – all in an effort to improve organizational agility through increased knowledge, connection, and collaboration.
For now, Sobo is focused on “onboarding” but looks to begin work soon to assess organizational connection and cohesiveness to set the stage for greater social by design.
