As Seth Godin points out in his post “The Conversation“, you can use the standard Zoom room (up to 200 people w/ a large meeting add-on) and distribute people into up to 50 breakout rooms giving each person the opportunity to share with a small group they may not regularly connect with. Imagine doing this EVERY day at the END of the day for a total gathering time of under 30 minutes!
Here are some suggested questions:
- What did you find most satisfying in the work you did today?
- What is something new you learned?
- Who did you help and/or who helped you today?
The benefits:
- Accomplishments signal know-how for others to recognize and tap into for the future.
- New learnings invite others on same path to connect and share.
- Identifying collaborators and collaborations creates connections and new relationship opportunities.
Bring people together, make the invisible visible every day, and reap the rewards of creating a more social organization long-term.
